A Monthly Podcast Series for Ocean County Municipalities

Claim the narrative. Build trust. Reach your residents directly.

ONE TOWN… ONE VOICE… ZERO SPIN…

At the heart of our municipal media service is the Talk of the Town podcast, a monthly, in-studio production designed to give your town direct access to its residents without interference, distortion, or media bias.

Each professionally produced episode is hosted by Jeff Dingsor of Full Armor Media Group, a veteran media strategist with decades of experience in public messaging. The format is clean, respectful, focused, and non-partisan.

Segment One: From the Mayor’s Desk

This opening segment features your Mayor in a direct, unscripted conversation covering the month’s key topics. It’s a platform to lead with transparency, explain decisions, and connect with residents in a format that builds trust and clarity.

This is your town’s chance to lead the narrative and speak with clarity and confidence.

Segment Two: Key Voices

The second segment highlights a different member of your municipal team each month. Whether it’s the Police Chief, Director of Public Works, OEM Coordinator, or Parks and Recreation lead, this rotating spotlight brings depth to the discussion and puts a human face on town operations.

Social Media Clips: Instant Visibility in Bite-Sized Content

Turn one full-length episode into a month’s worth of targeted, high-impact content.

Each Talk of the Town episode is broken down into 3 to 5 short-form video clips, formatted for Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. These clips highlight the most engaging and relevant moments, keeping your message in front of residents all month long.

What They Are:

Short-form vertical videos (15 to 60 seconds) formatted for maximum engagement. These aren’t just cut-downs—they’re purpose-built highlight reels that position your leadership as proactive, transparent, and in touch with the community.

Sample Clip Types:

  • Mayor’s Quote Clip – A direct statement from the Mayor addressing a hot topic, concern, or local win.

  • Public Safety Tip – A quick insight from Police, Fire, or OEM leaders (e.g., “How to prepare for hurricane season.”)

  • Upcoming Event Reminder – “Mark your calendars: The Fall Festival is October 12th at Veteran’s Park.”

  • Did You Know? – Fast facts or behind-the-scenes details the public rarely hears (“Did you know Public Works repaves over 10 miles of road each year?”).

  • Behind-the-Scenes Soundbite – A candid moment, an unscripted comment, or a moment of levity—great for humanizing leadership.

What You Get:

  • Edited clips delivered in vertical format (9:16) ready for upload.

  • Branded with your township’s logo and color scheme.

  • Captioned for accessibility and silent scrolling.

  • Optional: Headlines added for social media scrollers.

Why It Works:

  • Expands reach—Residents who won’t sit through a full podcast will engage with short clips.

  • Boosts trust—Consistent visual presence reinforces leadership accessibility.

  • Saves your team time—We produce the content. You simply post it.

This isn’t content for content’s sake—this is strategic storytelling in snackable form, giving your municipality real visibility where your residents are actually watching.

Community Question Segment

Give your residents a voice, without giving up control.

Every Talk of the Town episode can include one curated question submitted by a resident. This gives your community a way to participate directly while maintaining a professional and focused tone throughout the episode. We call it the Community Question Segment.

What It Is

A brief, moderated moment where the Mayor or guest responds to a public-submitted question. These questions can be collected via a form on your website, social media, or emailed to your municipal office. You choose which one to answer each month.

What It Does

  • Builds trust by showing that leadership is listening

  • Cuts through social media noise and hears from real people

  • Provides a safe, structured platform for engagement

  • Encourages ongoing resident participation between episodes

How It Works

  • Your team collects questions from the public throughout the month

  • We provide a templated submission form you can embed or post

  • Prior to filming, you send us the question you want featured

  • The Mayor or featured guest addresses it during the episode

  • We edit it into both the full episode and as a standalone social clip

Why It Works

Most towns talk at their residents. This is your opportunity to talk with them. It’s controlled, respectful, and impactful—everything public discourse should be.

Optional Add-On: Town Spotlight Segment

Shine a light on the departments and people that keep your town running.

The Town Spotlight is a quarterly add-on video that gives residents a behind-the-scenes look at a key area of your municipality. It’s not a commercial, and it’s not scripted fluff. It’s a 90-second story that highlights the real work being done by your team.

What It Is

A professionally filmed and edited feature on one department, service, or initiative in your town. Examples include Public Works, Parks and Recreation, Animal Control, Emergency Management, or the local Library.

What It Covers

  • Day-in-the-life footage of the featured team or service

  • Quick interviews or soundbites from staff or leadership

  • On-location visuals that show the impact of their work

  • Your township branding and optional call to action

How It’s Used

  • Posted to your website or social media as evergreen content

  • Played at public events, council meetings, or school visits

  • Shared internally as team morale boosters

  • Archived to create a long-term video library for resident education

Why It Works

It builds appreciation for often overlooked teams, strengthens the connection between residents and municipal employees, and makes your township look proactive and proud of the work being done.

You can schedule one per quarter or add them on as needed. Each one adds credibility, transparency, and human connection to your public-facing communication.

Community-Supported Pricing Model

We know every township is unique. Whether you’re a small borough or a large city, we offer flexible monthly, quarterly, or annual packages tailored to your communication goals and municipal budget. Our standard package is $2,000 per month and includes a professionally produced episode featuring your town’s leadership, a set of branded social media clips, and supplemental messaging tools designed to keep your residents informed and engaged.

To help reduce municipal costs, we operate a dedicated Patreon campaign for each town’s edition of Talk of the Town. Managed entirely by our team, these campaigns give residents an opportunity to directly support their town’s communication platform while maintaining full production and editorial control. The more the community gets involved, the more value your town receives.

Here’s how it works:

  • If the Patreon campaign raises $2,500 or more in a given month, we reduce that month’s invoice to $1,000.

  • If it reaches $3,000 or more (1.5 times the production cost), we waive the town’s invoice entirely and include our Town Spotlight Segment add-on at no extra cost.

Each month, your municipality receives a full Patreon revenue report to ensure complete financial transparency.

This performance-based model rewards civic engagement, encourages residents to invest in local transparency, and helps municipalities maintain professional outreach without stretching their communication budgets.

Included at Full Funding: The Town Spotlight Segment

When community support reaches the full funding threshold, we don’t just waive the invoice—we expand the value. Your town will also receive one Town Spotlight Segment, but not quarterly… you will get one each month at no additional cost.

The Town Spotlight is a professionally produced 90-second video that highlights the people and departments behind your community’s success—Public Works, Parks and Rec, OEM, Animal Control, or any initiative you want residents to better understand and appreciate.

These segments can be shared online, presented at public events, or archived to build a lasting visual library that reflects your town’s dedication to service.

Think of it as a monthly sizzle reel for the town—a fast-paced, visually engaging way to highlight the real people and departments that make your community work.

Also included in this is a quarterly (or seasonal) testimonial video taken at different township functions.
